OUR GRACE-SUSTAINED STORY
From strangers to lovers, our story is a testament to how beautifully God orchestrates love, in His perfect time and grace.
It all started in college, where God’s perfect plan brought Josh and Venus together. Though they were never classmates and took different courses, their paths crossed when they became teammates in a culminating activity organized by their PE teacher.
Venus was drawn to Josh’s calmness and quiet enthusiasm, qualities that captured her heart. Josh didn’t feel the same right away, but as time went on, he found himself falling even deeper, proof that “she fell first, but he fell harder.”
On December 8, 2015, their love story officially began, the day they chose each other and started a journey built on love, hardship, and God’s grace.
After years of growing together, their relationship has been strengthened by the challenges of life. They have learned to love deeply, forgive freely, and support each other unconditionally. Their bond stands as a testament to God’s faithfulness and grace that endures through every season.
Then, on December 20, 2023, with the help of his friends from Word of Life Philippines, Josh knelt down and asked Venus to spend forever with him. With tears of joy and a heart full of love, she said yes.
Now, the day they’ve both prayed for is finally here. On November 29, 2025, Josh and Venus will stand before God, their families, and friends to say “I do.”
It is more than a wedding. It is the fulfillment of a love orchestrated by God and a testament to His sustaining grace in every season of life, forever and always.
